A 60-second wind up provides up to 1 hour of illumination. The more you wind, the longer it shines. Wind-up handle may be turned in either direction. Built in rechargeable Ni-MH 3.6 volt battery. 10mm ultra bright white LED.

The gear train mechanism has undergone accelerated lifetime testing in excess of 500,000 cycles. The accelerated lifetime testing of the batteries reflect no significant capacity loss even after 10,000 30-second crank charge cycles.
