Flat rate shipping fees

Everybody loves a good deal - especially if kept simple. We would like to make life easier and introduce flat shipping to Canada and the US:

  • Within Ontario, flat rate of $9.99. Orders over $99 receive free shipping.
  • Within Canada, flat rate of $11.99. Orders over $99.00 receive free shipping.
  • To the U.S., flat rate of $14.99. Orders over $99.00 receive free shipping.

Torontonian? Picking your order up in one of our Toronto stores might be your best bet - it’s free! These shipping rates are only valid for shipping by the following:

  • Canada Post Ground for deliveries in Canada
  • Fedex International Ground for deliveries in the USA

Some items are exempt from flat rate and free shipping due to weight and size - these items will be noted as such and will ship according to the Canada Post cost. Orders over 15 pounds are not eligible for free shipping or the flat rate fee.

Mattresses, mattress toppers and comforters need special shipping therefore are exempt from flat shipping rates or free shipping.

Remote locations in Canada are not eligible for free shipping and will be charged actual shipping cost. Remote locations include, but are not limited to the postal codes that begin with the following (these restrictions are updated as remote locations are identified and all applicable postal codes may not show below): A0K, A0P, A1X, B0*, G0G, P0L, P0T, P0V, P0X, R0B, S0G, S0J, T0H, T0K, T0M, T0P, T1M, T7Z, T9K, T9H, V0*, V1E, V8A, V9*, XOA, X0B, X0C, X0E, Y0B

Shipping exceptions described above will be charged the fee provided by postal services. The rural areas of both United States and Canada, will incur an additional shipping charge and may even delay shipping time.

Orders placed on a business day will usually be shipped within 1-3 business days, unless otherwise specified. Orders placed on a Saturday, Sunday or holiday will ship the next business day. You can expect to receive your package within 1 to 7 business days from the day we ship your order.

We are not responsible for losses due to authority of law, local disputes, civil commotion, hazards incident to a state of war, local or national weather conditions, national or local disruptions in air or ground transportation networks, strikes or anticipated strikes (of any entity, including, but not limited to, other carriers, vendors or suppliers), and natural disasters (earthquakes, floods and hurricanes are examples of natural disasters).

Do you ship to my country?

At the present moment, we ship to Canada and the United States. We will sometimes make exceptions, but you will not be able to checkout using your country information with our online store. Please contact us.

Shipping to the United States

Orders shipped to the United States are not charged Canadian taxes; however, all orders pass through customs and are subject to import duties, taxes, and custom processing fees. These charges will be calculated by FedEx\Canada Post\USPS and billed directly to you. While these charges are usually relatively small, please be aware that they do exist. A FedEx\Canada Post\USPS invoice will arrive with your parcel or may follow in the mail. Recipients are responsible for paying these additional fees.

When will my order ship?

Our orders are processed within 1-3 business days from the time of order. Please note that this does not include shipping time.

After placing your order, you may click here to track the status of your order. You will receive a shipment confirmation when your order has shipped and tracking information within 24 hours of shipment.

Please note that our individual product pages do not presently contain availability information. We do our best to remove products that are currently out of stock, but from time to time, we may notify you of a slight delay, and in many cases, will offer to split ship the missing item later, when it arrives at no additional shipping cost.

We ship via Canada Post and FedEx; see full time schedules below. Selecting a method of shipment determines how long your package is in transit once the package ships. It does not include the time required for Grassroots to process, package and ship your order (usually 1-4 days).
