Energy Efficient: Helps reduce or conserve energy use as a result of either efficient design or manufacturing.

Recycled: Made in whole, or in part from recycled ingredients and/or with recycled materials. This product uses 100% post-consumer paper (i.e. newsprint, printer paper, stationery, etc) and recycled aluminum in its construction. Instead of throwing out the pencil shreds, recycle them again!

Forest Friendly: Responsible choice for forests and those who rely on them. Traditional wood-based pencils are the result of heavy deforestation and manufacturing. Greenciles don't require the felling of a single new tree, and unlike standard wood-based pencils, the shredding can be recycled.

Greenciles are environmentally-sensitive pencils made completely of recycled paper.

With no wood in them whatsoever, Greenciles give you the same great writing quality that you would get from a standard 2HB pencil, but with a greater benefit to the planet and the environment.
